Improving our environment, advancing communities, and serving others.
We will be a great place to work that is solving the world’s greatest water and telecommunications challenges.
Initially known as Alan Plummer and Associates, Inc., the company was founded by Alan and Peggy Plummer in Arlington, Texas. Using their living room as an office and setting up a drafting table in their bedroom, the couple served their first client. Initially, projects were water quality planning and modeling, permitting, treatability, odor studies, operations assistance, and preliminary engineering studies.
Within four years, Alan Plummer and Associates, Inc. transitioned its service as primarily a study firm to a study and design firm, with an emphasis on water and wastewater treatment.
The company goal of 15 employees was achieved. The company’s first design project (TRA Ten Mile Creek WWTP Expansion) was completed.
The company developed the Las Colinas Reuse Project. At that time, it was the largest direct reuse project in the country.
